Kayak Training For Essex Scout Leaders

Another successful kayak training day delivered to Essex Scout Leaders.  The day was spent exploring how to safely run a kayaking session for Scouts on class “C” water.  Below are some of their comments on the day: -

Coaching Afternoon on the River Chelmer 25th March.

Come and join our coaches for a fun afternoon paddle on the river Chelmer on Sunday 25th March and receive some paddle coaching at the same time.

Lake District 7th - 8th January 2012

Another successful trip held in the beautiful Lake District over the first weekend of January.  The group ran 2 rivers over the weekend with mixed success.  Saturday saw us descending Troutbeck and Sunday descending the river Kent.

Dartmoor 9th - 11th December 2011

We'll be on Dartmoor with Southend Canoe Club over this weekend based in Poundsgate and paddling various sections of the river Dart.
